Let’s keep Wayne County a great place for families, businesses, and all who call it home.

“Our community needs someone who is not only experienced in the law, but who has experience serving the people right here in our district.”

My record in public service, in my law practice, and in my family demonstrates my commitment to integrity, fairness and hard work.

A heart for Wayne County, a life of service.

After over a decade of advocating for citizens' rights as an attorney and community leader, Jess is ready to deliver fairness and justice as magistrate judge. During my four years as Court Administrator in Wyoming and Sullivan Counties, I oversaw three Magisterial District Judge offices. My responsibilities included ensuring efficient operations and case management. Our courts maintained high service standards and accountability while ensuring fairness and accessible justice for the community.

Committed to community.

Jess combines her roles as a mother, wife, and attorney with a passion for giving back through community service and coaching youth sports.

Trusted. Devoted. Prepared.

Jess Ellis is committed to upholding the law with fairness and ensuring equal treatment for all. With proven experience, sound judgment, and unwavering integrity, she is prepared to serve Wayne County with honor. What People Are Saying

“I have known Jess personally and professionally for a number of years. Through my work in the Public Defender’s Office, we are often we are on opposing sides. I have great faith in Jess’s ability to serve as a Magisterial District Judge. I’ve seen firsthand how Jess handles herself in Court as she advocates for the victims of crimes and for the Commonwealth, while also being courteous and respectful of the Defendants and their rights. I’ve also served as a juror for her Mock Trial team and watched her interact with students sharing her legal knowledge with them.

Jess has served admirably as a Court Administrator and as an Assistant District Attorney. All while raising her growing family, and being a role model for the community through numerous roles and volunteer work.

Jess is the real deal and the total package and I hope you will consider voting for her on May 20th.”

John Langton

Chief Clerk, Wayne County Public Defender’s Office

Wayne County needs a judge who upholds the law while understanding the people it serves. With her experience, dedication, and unwavering sense of justice, Jess Ellis is the right choice.
