Jessica Ellis Files Nomination Petitions with Over 1,000 Signatures
Demonstrating broad bipartisan support, Jessica Ellis, candidate for Magistrate Judge in Wayne County, officially filed her nomination petitions March 10th, 2025, securing over 750 signatures from Republican voters and more than 300 from Democratic voters. This overwhelming show of support underscores Ellis’s widespread appeal and commitment to serving all members of the community with fairness and integrity.

Ellis brings a wealth of experience to the race, having served as Court Administrator for Wyoming County, as an Assistant District Attorney in Wayne County, and as a practicing civil law attorney. Her successful petition drive positions her as a strong candidate leading into the primary election. By securing significant support from both Republicans and Democrats, Ellis demonstrated her ability to unite the community and bring a balanced approach to the bench.
